Psychotherapy for individuals and couples

Nicole works with clients to bring more of their experience into awareness and experiment with new ways of relating to self and others. Through this process genuine and lasting growth and change occurs. New choices open up and a sense of personal power emerges as clients experience greater freedoms and control in their own lives. This process is undertaken with a balance of support and challenge, and is tailored to each client’s particular needs.

With comprehensive training in Gestalt Therapy and Couples Therapy, Nicole also incorporates elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, Emotion Focussed Therapy and attachment theory into her work with individuals and couples. Her style is warm, friendly and inclusive, she relates to clients with respect and acceptance.

Clinical supervision

Clinical supervision is also available for mental health professionals, support workers, social workers, gestalt therapists and counsellors in private practice or working in organisations. Nicole currently provides clinical supervision for a range of clients working in private and public settings. Her approach to supervision focusses on the complex multiple relationships and systems that affect the work that supervisees do with their clients, and attends to the impact of the work on the clinician. Supervisees are supported to plan for their professional development needs and career pathways as well as attending to their self care.

Group supervision for small teams can also be provided either in person or online. Contact Nicole directly to discuss her availability and terms. Or if you are interested to join a supervision group of practitioners who work in various settings, register your interest with Nicole and you will be contacted when a place is available.
